My first of many trips to Washburn Hot Springs, 2015
After starting my postdoc I inherited a metagenomic dataset from Washburn Hot Spring from my advisor, Prof. Bill Inskeep. In this rich dataset are so many interesting new findings, and we return to Washburn again and again to test our hypotheses formed from our interpretation of all the microbial DNA in the hot spring.
