ECOGEO 'Omics Workshop, Summer 2016

There are a lot of words that end in 'omics these days. Genomics, transciptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, to name a few. These all deal with studying a biological community by investigating the biomolecules they produce. There are many new techniques in bioinformatics to help scientists do this. A few of my colleagues and I went to Hawaii to learn new 'Omics techniques at an ECOGEO workshop at the University of Hawaii.
